You’re busy…we all get it. Sadly, you need your copy back 10 minutes ago right? Again, totally understand. Here are 5 tips to get it back ASAP!

 

5. Write copy earlier in the day while you’re most refreshed & creative — and when you have less on your plate

4. Try to plan ahead! Send a full page of copy every time! Once your recording your session it’s all about you! Send a few liners at the end of the page if nothing else.

3. Do not write copy in the body of an e-mail – attach to the e-mail you send – prevents misaligned sentences and is much easier to understand/read.

2. Always include regional pronunciation via phonetically (fa-ne-tic-lee) or attach an mp3 with you saying the possible confusing word(s)

1. PROOFREAD! Re-read your copy before you hit send. We get MOST copy but this is the biggest reason you will not have your piece on-air as soon as you want/need! Just take 3 extra minutes and proofread your copy. Simple.
